  Emilie le Pennec 

She was born on December 31st in La Garenne-Colombes. She was twelve years old when she began gymnastics. When she was 14, she went to the Olympic Games 2004 in Athens, Greece. At this age it is almost impossible to win the Olympic Games, but she did it. She won the gold medal with 9.687 points on the asymmetric bars. Emilie le Pennec is the first French Olympic champion in her category.
